  1. Openbsd-Sh4 on Sega Dreamcasts and LAN Access? · · Score: 1

There is a project under way which is porting Openbsd to the hitachi's sh4 processor, which is used by the dreamcast. The Effort is concentrated here and on the mailing list(see above link). There is also a nice technical info page for those interested in Dreamcast Specs here.

If I buy stock in Andover, can I say I own you, Rob? Will I be able to boss you around and force you to give me tours of the Linux underground? I certainly hope so

  4. what is wrong with amiga on Amiga Executive Update · · Score: 1

I was talking to a friend today while looking at some trendy posters during my annual trip to the mall to remind myself why i dont like it. He said that at the companies that make stupid posters just give kids beer and write down what they say to get ideas. I think that is what they do at amiga. The kids they hire just think its cool to get new execs

What is the deal with the pictures of animals, which are on the cover of most(notable exceptions include the SATAN book, Firewalls, and Practical Unix Security, none of which have animals) of your books. I think they are pretty damn cool, but is there a purpose?

'We don't know the reason and purpose that made him apply for the special right in the name of "Linux", and why he broke the silence after four years to claim his rights regarding others' using his patented name, "Linux": at first he attacked the publishers of publishing the Linux-related books.' a quote from this page. It seems to have a bit more information than the article, and was linked to from there.

  7. There is no way this thing can hold up??? on Linux Trademark Under Attack Again · · Score: 1

I do believe, at least according to the article at linux today itself, that the article on slashdot is incorrect, or at least not comprehensive. Yongtae Kwon did in fact succesfully register a trademark for the word linux in Korea. He did probably try as the slashdot article says, but it neglects to say that he succeeded. And there is a way that this thing can hold up and that is, at least according to the patent office in Korea, if the existence of linux in Korea in 1995 cannot be proved. Correct me if i'm wrong, because thats what i am doing to you.
