Every person in the world is expected to respect other peoples religions and beliefs, no matter what they are, and that they shouldn't be interferred with. So shouldn't religious people start respecting those who choose to believe in science and stop fussing and whining if something scientific is "contravertial". If they find it so damn offensive, don't go and see it! After all, science has hard, material evidence, religion just has untracable texts and ambiguous artifacts.
Would this computer tax cover anything with a microprocessor in it such as calculators, wristwatches, mobile phones, etc. as they are technically computers. And would it include old computers not capable of accessing the internet or server systems and networks?
If they ever release it I'm sure we'll see an article about an MS robot running Linux. Although I would rather let Tux look after my kids than the BSOD.
So millions watch Changing Rooms and then think "MUST HAVE LAMINATE FLOOR, LILAC ON WALLS GOOD" or after watching Eastenders get a sudden urge to kill anyone with the name "Den"?
"If people want to watch BBC's biased coverage"
Biased? How the hell can the BBC be biased when it reports on ITSELF in a fully professional and unparalleled manner. I was watching BBC News last night running a report on this whole fiasco and the reporting was as though they were reporting externally from the BBC and not once was any biased comment said. The very same thing happened after the BBC were (wrongly in my opinion) disciplined for reporting on an intelligence flaw with the British government. That shows just how wrong you actually are.
Well actually, yes it does. any new versions or updates are offered to you when they are available. And they are much more regular than IE, I havn't had an updtae for IE for around 10 weeks now whereas Firefox was updated very recently.
I hate to sound like some pro-totalitarian next generation Big Brother, but it's not as if they are collecting personal information on customers without the customer's consent. Wal-Mart are just doing some major (I agree with obsessive though) market research so as they can optimise their stores to maximise profits, exactly the same as every other business in the world.
Don't Nationwide's ATMs already run Windows? I once went up to one of their cashmachines only to see "C++ Runtime Error" in the typical Win95/98/Me/NT/2000 window decoration.

"Your child has performed an illegal operation"
Saudi Arabia bad? Never! Without the Saudi's how on Earth would the Bush family get all their oil money?

We people of the UK do.
