If their AV fails and windows gets a virus, its Windows problem, not the AV problem.

Microsoft are in a loose/loose market, but they stand to make money off joe-sixpack so they don't care.

My Phone has bluetooth on it, and I sync it with my notebook wirlessly to change my playlists or archive my messages, its fantastic and its really got me to use the MP3 player in it. I don't think ill need to by the Zune if it can't even do what my phone can.

Its still a market, people are still prepared to pay for it, so that means there is demand.
If there is demand for the product then its worth making it, and shipping it.

Now more then ever we have MS/Intel/AMD/Apple starting to try to push PC's into living rooms and people want them to look good and stylish.

  17. Department store shoppers give a shit. on Sexy Intel Computer Design Worth Big Bucks · · Score: 5, Insightful

You may not give a shit about what your case looks like, but in the retail market where PC's sit on shelves the shoppers do care more about how their PC looks then really what it does.

Just recently I build a computer for a friends parents with a nice low profile Micro-ATX desktop/tower case and a 19" LCD monitor. It replaced a huge white box & 17" CRT on their desk and after some cabling cleanup it made their study look bigger and much nicer.

They were so impressed they showed it off to their friends, and within a week I had requests for 4 more.

People do care about the asthetics of what they buy when they want it for more then just basic functionality, the computer speed & jargon goes right over their head and they just want something that works well and looks good.

Its all stupid. You see them release "controlled" video's onto youtube and other blogsites when they are promoting a movie/song but if its something that wasn't thought of by them they suddenly want to sue the pants off everyone.

Adam usually does things the long difficult way and it usually ends up in failure. Jamie's plans always seem to work and they are well constructed.

Adam makes the show watchable because his idea's and his personality make it interesting TV, while you have Jamie at the same time showing you the right way to do things.

This combination is what makes good viewing and evenly balanaced between entertainment/humor and education.

I would hate to watch the show with someone who couldn't stand up to Jamie, Adam does this well and thats why the show works so well. If Jamie was allowed complete control everytime, it would be boring.
