sounds like a problem that multicast-based file transfer is designed to solve. http://www.tcnj.edu/~bush/uftp.html
You said IPSec VPNs, but is it just ipsec, or is it gre inside ipsec? If there's no GRE, then forget what I said.
It's just a/28 block of addresses!!! NAT not withstanding, it is probably just for transit network that connects their Phoenix corporate office to the Internet.
I think Slashdot must be slippin'...
News with the word "Google" in it has been avaialble for a few hours, and it only now made it to the home page.
What's next? An Apple announcement going uncommented?!
Miscellaneous people calling up to bitch about not being able to reach Network B from Network A isn't going to accomplish a thing. This is a business decision made by Level3, and they are fully within their rights to do so.
Any customers that are feeling the burn of this are in that position because they are not multi-homed.
Maybe this "incident" will wake them up to that shortsightedness, maybe it won't... If you are building a network out there, make sure you use 2 Carriers that are either big enough to warrant that this type of peer posturing doesn't happen, or, you buy service from a carrier who buys transit from one of them.
Say word on the Apple WINE... (have to wait for the Bobcat release of OSX for that, I guess)
All I want is Visio for the Mac, and I'll be one happy network-nerd. Kivio kinda sucks.
Just like the old(?!) McDonalds Commercials with Michael Jordan and Larry Bird in a space suit... Maybe we could get them to join Bruce Willis' Dream Team...

30 mb isn't much of a CD collection.

The URL looks busted, to me...
