While what you say makes sense on one level you seem to miss the point of a written encyclopedia over wikipedia. The articles in a written encyclopedia are written by experts and undergo a thorough process for fact checking. Wikipedia let's any third grader edit articles willy nillie. I love my technology, but when it comes to facts I'll stick with with a real encyclopedia thanks.

You have to realize how internet is charged in a lot of other countries. There isn't any $20 a month unlimited access equivalent to the USA. Many of these countries still charge by the bandwidth so it is so much per megabyte. I'm from the US and I even know this from my friends overseas. The few that are well enough off to afford a home connection still only have it on as little as possible because it gets extremely expensive to actually use the internet.

Does this really come as any surprise? Sony lost this one before they were even out of the gate. Nintendo will not release thier iron grip on the hand held market. The only possibility is that Pocket PCs/Palms or cell phones will eventually give Nintendo the one two in this arena since people are already using those for other purposes as well. I personally believe there will need to be more unification among those platforms though before they can truly compete with Nintendo.

It is only entrapment if is an official of the law that lures you into committing the crime. If it is a company or a private party then it is not entrapment. Additionally, entrapment is hard to prove since it is even legal for police to entrap you if they follow certain rules. For example there is the classic "police hooker" setup. If a police woman dresses like a hooker and propositions you it would NOT be entrapment if the conversation went like this. "Hello there handsome would you like to go upstairs and fuck me? It will only cost you $200." -undercover police woman "Hell yes I would!" -dumb desperate guy But it would be entrapment if instead the conversation went like this. "Hello there handsome would you like to go upstairs and fuck me? It will only cost you $200." -undercover police woman "Are you a police officer or other official of a law enforcement agency or in any way related to or working for a law enforcement agency?" "No. Do you want to pay me to fuck or not?" - undercover police woman "Hell yes I would!" -dumb desperate guy Now that is entrapment!

It doesn't mean much if it is "just a PC" at this stage. When I was first working on Tao Feng for the XBox our original "prototype" machines from Microsoft were pretty generic looking tower PCs with a cheap ass USB controller. It wasn't until well into development that we received the final development kit and received a development Xbox that looked like the end product (The final development Xboxes look the same as the home Xbox except they are in clear cases). Also, if anyone has actually followed what Infinium Labs is saying they are supposed to be a subscription model targeted at older casual gamers. So this isn't really anything new, it's just the set top box idea that is actually been pretty successful overseas. They have also stated that the Phanton will play many PC games. My guess is an enhanced PC that is intended to allowing downloading games on subscription while preventing piracy at the same time. Now don't get the wrong idea here and think I'm doing the 'hurrah' for Infinium. I believe that the management has done some shady dealings in the past and also that they have very little chance of succeeding in the market now even if they are legit. But I don't think they are as 'evil' as HardOCP is making them out to be either.
