So there just might be some serious money to be made in the convergence.
Yes, there is definately serious money in the converge. But choosing to support Real Player isn't the best idea in the world. First off, in my opinion, Real PLayer doesn't really have a good user interface. Second is compatability. It is because of the fact that Real Player is only compatable with MPEG-4/WMV/WMA/MP3 file formats that a problem stems. There are many more file formats out there, most of which I use personally, that cannot be handled by phone. However, I'm particularly disappointed that that it is also iTunes compatable. they could've at least gone with iRiver.
The book sounds very interesting, but the way it is described makes it seems like it only goes through the basics. What if you want more in-depth reading on tagging and other simple necessities that you cant go without knowing about well?
What's the point in even replacing it, anyways? yea, that thing is old, but do we really need to go through the trouble of taking Hubble out and replacing it? Hubble's been doing fine so far, and we will have to go through the trouble of either loading it up in the shuttle with the Astronauts and bringing it back or crashing it in the Atlantic. Both options are time consuming, and if we crash it, we wont be able to salvage the parts. so, take the time to do that and add it to the time it takes to build the new telescope and the time to launch it and everything and we vould have just fixed Hubble 5 times over.
publicly releasing maps of the WiFi area coverage in Seattle is a somewhat good idea in that the people know if they are covered by WiFi in that area, but it is also kinda dumb. Its just wasting space on the host and on the World Wide Web. I mean, seriously, overing arial maps of all of seattle is also a security risk...of course i probably would be arguing this point if the WiFi network was in Davie...
I think the HAARP project in its self is stupid. Are there some benefeits? Of course. But this is just another attempt for man to mess with nature. We are already experiencing problems because of global warming, like the bizarre weather, why add to it by emitting highly concentrated photons into the atmosphere?
A majority of americans are against Stem Cell Research because they thing it only comes from embryos. Stem Cells can not only come from the cord, but also before the egg officially becomes an embryo.
