Yeah, that's like that old line about the little kid in church singing about an oddly-named large animal with a vision problem, because it was what she thought the congregation was singing:
Speaking as a multiple turkey attack survivor and having had my fill of turkey, holidays ago, if they don't drown themselves, let's drop them from helicopters over famine areas to see if they can fly.
Compare that to the lead scientist in Independence Day. He couldn't even afford decent pants.
Yeah, but given that he was the great-great-great-great-grandfather of the guy who was gonna build Data (explaining the incredible family resemblance), who cares?

Combined with this information and the browser manufacturers having whupped the W3C over the codecs stuff, not to mention my continuing requirement to support a large number of slackjawed technophobes who don't know there's something better than IE 6, I can't help but feel I'm gonna be stuck coding "HTML 4.01 strict" for a long, long time.
Of course, it's pure coincidence that Perry is facing a tough re-election challenge from U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison in next year's Republican primary. By pushing this proposal, win or lose, it makes him look good to the sector of his party -- hard-right conservatives, particularly in rural areas -- likely to give him the best chance for a third full term.
"Gladly, the Cross-Eyed Bear."
Not right now it won't. They got hacked.
Oddly (and, given last week's events, scarily) enough, you've also just described the stock market.

Obligatory ref.: "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."
You definitely must NOT be new here. My compliments.
Bet this stuff takes just like the "mystery meat" in the cafeteria back at my dear ol' alma mater. Yum.

Judging from the appearance of some criminals, it doesn't seem likely that's always the camera's fault.

Even more onerous -- a grammar-Nazi reply to myself. I should have punctuated that so it would say:
Several references to "Angel's" in TFA should be "Angels'," meaning the possessive form of the plural proper noun Angels.
So much for my positive karma... [sigh]
Until Microsoft quit making IE for Mac, yes, Apple did bundle IE with OS X.

It's one of several CSS bugs currently plaguing /. They usually don't occur if you're logged out, FWIW.
