Using bitcoin as currency is about the same as using traditional stocks as currency.
I really think bitcoin has no real value outside of providing temporary peaks and valleys to trade between. Using an unstable commodity as a measure of trade-worth is far more complex for businesses to adopt at scale, which pretty much relegates it to the small guy looking to move small amounts of currency discreetly.
I can't imagine this will ever go mainstream at scale unless the value can be made consistent.
Considering the complexity of the FAR-AIM designating minimums it's adequate enough when discussing powered flight by real aircraft with the general public.
You read me correctly. I have worked in a major radio network, and they said as much in the conference meetings when discussing the dismissal of radio hosts that didn't tow the line.
You may think you're funny, but in all honesty Bobbied speaks the truth of the reality of our government.
Nobody is buying the media horse-shit anymore. It's all about chasing the dollar and pitching for the people they want in office is not only a protected American right, it can be very profitable if the right people get elected. Trump has proven that with his campaign spending. Both sides do it too.
So no, I don't really believe what's in the news anymore either. So much of it is the little boy that cried wolf, chicken little, or false flag action with just *enough* truth to sound plausible.
"An ad-hominem attack on the article" goes by another name: it is a criticism
Fine, calling a person names instead of debating the debating points is an ad-hominem. However calling the debate points names is not criticism either.
Nobody cares about Slashdot digits. Though I did modify WWIV Code and work with Renegade BBS in the very early 90s. and extensively modified Magic City Micro powered BBS software in the late 80s. Participated in Telnet chats about that same time then of course there's door games and fido net etc.
An ad-hominem attack on the article is better than an ad-hominem attack on the person but it still does not reduce the validity of my position.
QF/FF is still an inferior product primarily because it obsoletes it's extensions with each and every far-to-frequent update. While the developer tools available to either is debatable, Developer extensions for Chrome developed by any party will continue to work after Chrome has been updated.
it's my opinion that Q/FF is garbage. I have been in the IT industry before the Internet became popular, so my opinion has the weight and breadth of experience.
If you mean accurate by calling out another boy calling wolf yes. Crying wolf is an accurate statement of this headline asking a question. Which by Rule the answer is NO. If they had the evidence they would make the claim, not ask it.
What's not there natively is available as an extension that will still work after Google updates chrome. While FF or QF extensions will have to be re-patched by the extension developer before they can be used again.
In some cases after an update to FF I had to manually remove the extension before FF would even load.

Fair enough point,
In that respect I see this new law going back to the courts to be debated. Again.
Considering the complexity of the FAR-AIM designating minimums it's adequate enough when discussing powered flight by real aircraft with the general public.
However for the curious:
https://www.faa.gov/air_traffi...
Chapter 3 is the section on 'airspace'
Combine that reading with real-time aircharts with NOTAMS and ATIS :

The FARAIM describes the Legal minimums for aircraft as 500 Feet Above Ground Level ( AGL ) .
Ultralights and other non-licensed pilots are required to remain below 500 feet,
Every aircraft is required to maintain at least 500 feet from people, property or other objects, etc.
+1 Informative

No, *you* get off *my* lawn! :P

I will have to install Firefox and use a search engine other than Google. But I will get it tomorrow. Google and Chrome is being ... Interesting.
it didn't even exist after the 1980 eruption
Lol, I wonder why? :)
Strawman with the XP. You may be able to fork qf/ff ( Lets just call it Qweef. ) but what will you honestly have time to do with it?
Yep. So far the predictions have been matching the measurements pretty well.
According to the data Gore projected the first time the boy cried wolf the Glaciers are supposed to be gone already.
Quit projecting so hard.

Are you saying you 'own' FF or QF?
I don't believe you own them anymore than you 'own' Chrome.
I need to learn where all the tools
It sounds like you haven't explored the Google dev tools in-depth.

It's not here now, and wasn't several years ago when I switched.
FF Still Sucks.
It's the expiring extensions and the too frequent updates that drove me from FF to begin with. Sounds like I won't be going back any time soon.
Good Lord No!
Give him an Acme parachute and film that shit!
If he's smart he can rent some bleachers and have wile e coyote and roadrunner for a special appearance.
Isn't there a rule for headlines that proclaim "X is dying"?
Like the rule for every article that asks a question means the answer is "No" ?
Pretty sure the song 'Oh cum all ye faithful' has that covered.
Truth is a cruel bitch sometimes.
Pretending it isn't true won't make it better.
Modding down reality isn't going to change it either.
You're still not going to use a nail gun if you don't have the nails. C is the nails.
You mean world history?
White people invented all the shit everyone else appropriates for granted.
Fuck off.
God forbid we actually look at these applications and require they prove they are qualified for the job and are going to obey our laws.
