but it is clearly a series that doesn't work any more.
The show, the comedy, the characters all work fine, all the 3 episode special proved is that if you use a shitty script it will still stink regardless of the quality of the cast and how much the series is loved. The original series still works today extremely well, it is one of the few comedy series I can watch over and still enjoy the humor.
a single server? and they went to the trouble of ensuring the removal of fingerprints, serial numbers and encryption?
I am not a huge fan of wikileaks but this really doesn't seem to fit in at all with how they operate. However it fits in perfectly with more nefarious and far less moral organisations such as the US government.
WebM is a nightmare for hardware devices, especially low powered ones, how will android users feel when googles move here suddenly has a massive reduction in the battery life of their phones?
early stages of the web in early 2000's??? WTF. I was using a browser on the web in the early 90's and it wasn't new when I started. App has its origins as an abrieviation for application from back in the 80's.
that is completely and utterly incorrect. Most of the online retailers are also traditional bricks and mortar stores and operate out of the same warehouses for those. Gerry harvey and Co have completely and utterly ignored the online market as they have found their isolation has allowed them blissfull ignorance to overcharge, you only have to have a look at the pathetic online pressence of the big players. The true irony here is that Gerry/Myers etc drove most of the small retailers out of business all the while saying it isn't there fault that they are able to take advantage of bulk buying and centralised warehousing, now the shoe is on the other foot and they are crying like babies (multi billionare babies that is).
There was a competitive bidding process, google just objected to one of the requirements of the bid. ie that they have to provide a costing for MS BPOS. specifying the technology to be used in a bid is hardly unusual, it just seems not enough due diligence was done behind the scenes, It would not suprise me if they basically do exactly the same thing again but this time have the background paperwork done,
A PS3 is a really poor and incredibly EXPENSIVE option for every single item you listed. None of those items (even if you combined them all) is a cost effective use.
simple, most people don't have time to play 2 MMO's at once so either you take down WoW and steal there players or you have to gamble on creating a new market and attracting an entirely new MMO audience. Now while WoW is hugely successfull it is certainly not invulnerable, most of the potential competition to wow didn't lose to wow they lost to themselves by creating products that were either incredibly buggy, incredibly unbalanced or simply incomplete.
I think you need to go back to school and learn to read.

20+ is quite high and requires a very high growth rate in future to maintain it. Apple is overvalued for there current income/profit as the share price has a considerable amount of future growth already priced in, basically any minor wrong step could easily see 20-30% wiped off their shareprice in a very rapid timeframe (and a wrong step just has to be good instead of astronomical growth).
FYI, Android has already surpassed the iphones market share and windows phone 7 success or failure remains to be seen. Either way Iphone is currently on the decline. At it's current price Apple has a lot of ways it could go and many of them are in a downward direction.
What a load of horse shit. Where do tin foil hat wearing retards like you come from. MS couldn't afford to do that even if they wanted to. Not to mention the share holders would tear them to pieces for such an insane waste of money. MS research has produced a LOT of highly regarded research in many fields ranging from robotics to graphics, many of which do find there way into products eventually.
Your actually wrong, most of the worlds spam originates in western countries that are most definitely accessible via the courts as can be seen by some of the largest spammers recently being hauled befor ethe courts, While yes you need to address the root cause which is money you still need to stomp hard on the bastard spammers that are facilitating this bastardy.
I don't think any of the tests were representative of real world HTML performance let alone the sprite collision detection, the article and the site are just a bad joke.
WTF? how is there no clear strategy or reason? ARM is rapidily proliferating in low powered devices, it performs better than the Atoms. The strategy is obvious, they need to ensure they are not locked out of a rapid growing part of the hardware market by being incompatible with it.
Another disenchanted deta player here. The game just didn't excite, after a session of playing I found myself having to force myself to try it again rather than looking forward to it. Not sure if it is the dumbed down controls to suit the PS3 or just that there really is nothing new or outstanding in the game. I won't be going on to install this on my PC either.
There is a significant difference, not all countries and societies operate by the same laws and cultures. In Japan just because it is visible doesn't mean it is public. there are countries where it is not even permissible to take photos without government permit EVEN in public places, there are cultures they do not permit photographs of their people taken. The idea of public view and therefore can be published is purely an American/western culture thing and it most definitely doesn't apply to all countries. Try travelling around the world with a camera and that view, you will quickly find yourself beaten to a pulp or in a jail.
The problem is the reverse is also regularly true on WP. Someone who is more opinated than knowledgable spends a great deal of time sitting on articles ensuring their views are the ones put forwards regardless of correctness, then someone knowledgable comes along but doesn't have the time to sit on that page and defend themselves against the incombant moron has his usefull contributions lost and more often then not won't bother to contribute further.

That is actually false, more people run Android now than IOS, Android passed iOS userbase late last year.

I don't know about savings ads for a long time, but I would love a queue of the last 100 ads that I've seen pass my screen
that would be 99 ads of "you are the lucky 1,000,000 visitor to our sie and have won a sony PS3/Ipod/some of piece of junk"
