yes, please send me your code. But precompile it, and label the file something like bigguns.cpp.exe. I'll forward it to my friends, and I'm sure we'll all get a good laugh out of it.
that itself is only a better suggestion if you know where I can get an unlimited SMS plan that doesn't cost more. (or at least an unlimited received SMS plan).
If I'm paying more, it is not leaving the cost to the provider. I'm picking up the tab for the cost, and providing the provider with a profit margin that they have incentive to maximize without passing me any of the benefit.
The providers absolutely love your suggestion. An extra $5 per month on every contract they have would do wonders for their bottom line. I'd rather do something else with that $60/year, thanks. No good.
really? I'm within 10 miles. One station I get crystal clear reception on the upper floor of my house. has there been any report of digital being more susceptible to weather attenuation? (I could see if you're already on the fringe for digital reception, but otherwise?
ok, i admit. it's not for weather. it's so that when dancing with the stars goes out with the storm I... I mean my wife... can switch to OTA and not miss the witty commentary. No radio help there.
I have satellite. When reception gets bad, I switch over to antenna since I'm close to a major city. Hard to get the blizzard forecast when your receiver can't see the satellite through the cloud cover.
So, paying for another mode of reception doesn't insulate you from the DTV switch.
one primary reason the government patents things is to protect themselves from paying licenses/royalties later for things they've already funded. I.e., most contracts stipulate that if the government funded a development that was patented, even by contractor, the government retains royalty free usage of the invention. Similarly, if they patent something they invented, it guarantees no one can 'invent' it later and charge for use (a CYA patent). Of course, the government can collect royalties on patented inventions, and often does so. even give the inventors a decent royalty share, compared to most companies which give you an 'attaboy'.
true. I could see them saying: "look, the risk far outweighs the benefit. block the whole damn thing until we figure out a better option."
But saying "implement the better option" now before it exists... well, that's government for ya.
why sir, oh why do you hate America?
less money for hookers. sounds valid to me.
I believe the current economic system IS giving many people free income deductions.
sorry. had to pick on that one.
just make sure you rebar'd it according to local code. and don't forget the permit.

I don't think Mr. Twain knew what X and Y axes were, or at least not h

That's a Dishnetwork receiver? Do you happen to know which other units have a digital OTA tuner? Mine only have pass-through. (501, 522)
I keep hearing about HD radio. maybe that's the ticket.
I prefer just to buy a converter box. But thanks for the suggestion.
Bread and circuses, my friend...

"Simplifying risk to a single number" oh, by the way, what's the current terror level?
i don't know, they way some offenses performed this past weekend, I can see quite a few linemen winding up on people's hitlists.
just a really long nose.
my day has been made. best O-T ever. and ben is my hero.
All hail the push-up.
and many of us drive-by'ers feel no need to register just to correct a few things. so the registred user number is really a meaningless piece of data.
at least there you know it's always just the waiter who walks away with your credit card info, and not someone snooping through your trash.

I had assumed by his comment that he would just prefer Joules.
