The problem is that the waveforms of modern songs are increasingly rendered at a uniform loudness, causing listener fatigue (it sure makes me tired). This is well addressed in the article.
Think sodium metal or any explosive really, that is keister stashed until the terrorist gets to the lavatory. Keister stashed? Slashdot, you teach me something new every single day!
What? That makes sense, they have slogans and messages and things, all philosophies/ideologies do.
When do these billboards start displaying the latest neocon? That works, it could be about abstinence and subliminal messages to buy halliburton stock... OK, it's a bit of a stretch, you're right. Should have said something like "the latest IngSoc message." I've read the book though, jackass.
I stand by my statement that safari on windows was a success before the first download. And it's not a good enough browser to cannibalize FF users, so it can really only hurt IE, which is a win for us all.
Having used it, I'm not a fan. Even the font rendering just looks wrong on windows, which is weird because I really like it on the mac...
Honestly, it's crap. It's like using infoseek back in 1995!

MP3 compression is yet another issue.
So when do these billboards start displaying the latest IngSoc?
Oops, wrong country. The US is far too smart for doublethink!
The level of accuracy shown by tagging this article 'fucktard' truly indicates that it's now time to come out of beta!
I'm curious how a truly random number can ALSO be a fingerprint...
"Your Honor, this alleged rapist has truly random DNA."
"Dat's right, if da seed don't fit, you must acquit!"

"I am the law"
Hmm, that explains why they just take it down beforehand with a "We'll be back soon" soon
They've given up
Yes, I'm sure the main fear at the time was having the white house leak her job status...
Tell that to Ms. Plame
I bet a lot of floridian orange growers do a lot of "grove scanning" as well.
Mmm mmm.... what? Dave Newman? blarghghgh NOOO!
Oh. DavA Newman... whew!
Maybe that's the problem.
I'm curious where these GAO guys have been for the past SEVEN YEARS
What's most amazing is that a story gets posted to slashdot purporting that Bill Gates is a genius!
Where it's OK to sleep with your mom... because she's your mom.
Ahh, well I stand corrected.

webkit has been open source for years. It was adobe who really did all the work getting safari to run in windows
So apple spends no time/money, opens a new source of google search bar revenue, AND gets a wider iphone "sdk"
Safari on windows was a success before Jobs announced it
Privacy != Anonymity
(It would have been ironic if I posted this AC.)
