This is more likely to be something people use once in a while. I avoided it at university because I could be bothered to go to the library, where I could read journals for free. But if the articles where much cheaper, I probably would have indulged, and I would probably still be reading them now that I don't have that library access...

I wonder if this will only work in Windows (and possibly Mac). Will be interesting to see if it could be done on other operating systems.

We put Windows on them and gave them all high speed net access... it wasn't the most successful experiment, and they weren't stuffed full of cash.
Virus venders.. hmmm For just £39.95 a month, you too can recieve the latest virii, trojans and worms directly to your inbox.
And these units are supposed to be easier for people to get their heads round?

What do you do when you're idly surfing the net (or gaming online) and your dsl/cable connection dies?
