Actually I'm betting it's the news story I saw last week after going through the rumor mill and several blogmodifications. They had around 6 dolphins that got out of an aqaurium during the hurricane to the gulf on TV last week. They were shown on the news after being missing and were reported as showing up near shore basically waiting to be let back in. They showed several trainers in their colorful cut off wetsuits in boats and on some kind of oversized kickboards feeding and playing with them while awaiting transport. The red/black and yellow/black short wetsuits didn't look to me like military issue. Maybe the seals are going more California surfer while on duty these days /shrug.

"The incongruity was funny at first, but the film repeated the same basic gag over and over with only slight variations and it got tiresome." The theater I was in...the crowd didn't seem to get it till the third time. Being a person that gets pretty annoyed by hollywood activism that gag never got old to me.

the pw hack, and the posts of a lot of the members email addresses were included with a hackers message listing republican websites in which a ddos attack was to be done during the RNC. The whole hypocrasy of indymedia (no not illegal just why I find it hard to feel any pity for them) was evident when people request their email addresses be removed to be told "we have no control", "we'll get around to it when we get people that can" other lame excuses (which they themselves proved were lies). Yet posts against them on their site in the interim were removed within 3 minutes.

I'm wondering with P2P criminal limits set, if the RIAA will just save money and knock off the civil lawsuits and spend it s days whistleblowng to DA's for people that exceed the criminal limits. If that happens at least there will be a clear "Do Not Cross" line for the small potato sharers out there. The section about Retail Value, and the different ways it could be figured is disturbing. Of other intrest (and possibly due to me not fully understanding the text) the exemptions for the audio/video skipping of motion pictures...seems to outlaw the practice of pausing record on a device to bypass recording commercials.
