I don't know if you guys have ever been to Irvine, CA... but I'm sure you've seen an uber master planned community somewhere by now.
The internet is likely the polar opposite to that way of life. The problem of career and enjoyment is solvable if there is a non-physical community to fit into. If you are in Irvine and must live, guess what, behind a Starbucks coffee machine you go making Maciatos. If you roll PHP doe into online systems people can use in Budapest, nevermind the US, chances are you will make less coffee for a living in your life time.
As the environment for livelihood becomes virtual, surrounding issues like these from the physical impact of the workplace, will be virtually gone. That and all the people who depend on social security and other forms of other people's money to survive at some point in their lives, be it welfare or street begging- need to get a life of their own instead of relying on Billy Bob in Michigan to work in a plant their whole lives to fund the method other people use to live a life of luxury.
After the matrix series, everyone realized that using the natural reality to cloak the spiritual reality is pointless. Nano technology is much better toward the future of having absolutely seamless virtual experience
sorry, i had things to take care of
I think money is smoke for other reasons, more because even if you have a lot of it, you hold nothing. The reserve backs your dollars? Hah. Try easterners who own everyone, including rights to our debts, upon debts, upon debts. When my first child is born, where I to consider myself citizen bound, he or she would owe the US over $94,000 for taking a breath. Yeah, that's reality.
The key is dismissing money as something in and of itself and realizing it to be the tool of the owner of all wealth. The money still says In God We Trust does it not, and that is where my base is. I am on course to a life without money, in the mean time it is all that can be used to maintain the quality of life we are blessed with. New houses and equipment can only be had by those who use money right now, but that doesn't mean it is an object yet. It is a tool for illusion toward the person who places value in it, not the person who gains value by it.
The current system does not work. What we think of as working is actually not failing entirely. You will see the new system unfold because you are exactly where it will, on the internet.
I never said I would abolish money, nor did I say bills were always avoidable. I was just saying that not everyone needs to take such a view. Part of the problem of today is that all that we percieve to be money is actually just smoke and mirrors.
All I am suggesting is that you don't be surprised if someone comes around with an alternative, you'd be caught with your mental pants down apparently.
I've found that people who want something enough will contribute time, and someone who wants it also but has no way to help will contribute according to their kind of work as well.
My inventions are in the process of being released publically, I got commercial funding for one project, maintained specific rights to it, then spun it into a freely contributable technology set for nearly any commercial application of information.
I can acknowledge all I want but that does nothing to make something actually the case, and the same goes for you. The simple fact is, because of how this goes now and because of how that goes now, your first sentence included the word bills
intellectual property is such a horrific stain on humanity. I do my best to circulate my work because I believe by not 'owning' it, people will get better access to it. I further believe it to be superior to what my competitors can make, which means to me that whatever is made proprietary has more chance of being inferior, because it needs to be protected. What is good will be used, what is bad must be pushed.
Those who _are_ good need not fear being copied because all they would need to do is expose the perpetrators and gain the user base of imposters when the originators obliterate the copy snake.
heh, I mean - philosophy is eventually called on for reasons for taxation, and that needs a compelling universe to hold water long enough for the idea to thrive within it. this post upholds a universeless ideal that makes me think, wait, I can just as easily think what I do --- except with more passion and compelling evidence.
Thanks for the link, though it's 90% sand and 10% box... I was hoping if you were suggesting the ideas were invalid at least there would be a damning cell around the person after reading. In this case they are idiots because they fail to outline a solution? What, someone else couldn't have thought of that which would suddenly make them pioneers?
how long until colleges are just "places people are learning" and no longer "monopolies of what people are learning", and the internet provides the subject matter?
It's not like taxableincome.net didn't already make taxes a thing of the past as we currently allow to continue -- or Intuit were ALREADY a parasite business before selling information. Couldn't be THAT.
1) if you can't get into the curriculm directly (think: ALL EDUCATED LIFE FORMS OBEY "X"), just call it something to appeal to paranoia
2) make database of upcoming minds being programmed
3) profit! I mean Control! wait wait, PROTECT!

Send the man video material and some popcorn, if he doesn't get the message, audio material and a get well card.

It's just a matter of time before music is free in digital formats, I wonder when
