Blake's 7 made it around in syndication here and there. When I was a kid in St. Louis, it was on our PBS station. I don't know what percentage of PBS stations around the country picked it up, but I think that's where it stood the greatest chance of being aired. I absolutely loved the show and...yes...went to a Dr. Who/Blake's 7 convention once...:) If these folks could list one-season-wonders, they really should have known about Blake's 7.
I have DirecTV and noticed "Google Current...Current Parent...Currency...Current Interview" while flipping through the guide a little while ago. I have only watched it briefly, but I just assumed it was, essentially, GoogleTV of some sort. It did seem pretty interesting, but I can go weeks without turning on the TV, so I didn't spend much time on it. Definitely a unique format for television.
It is listed as channel 366 on DTV, I believe it replaced NewsWorld International.
I have had one of these: http://www.kaitousa.com/ka007.htmfor a few years now. It's dirt cheap (usually can find them in the 30-40 dollar range online), and seems to have everything you've listed except for a light source.
It seems cheap and chintzy, but mine has been through a few beatings, use outdoors while working in the yard, drug along on hikes and is still doing fine. The price is pretty hard to argue with as well.
The downside to my purchase of this radio was it introduced me to shortwave radio listening, and I now have two other shortwave-capable radios.:)
