  1. Gsat to find... on Say 'Cheese' to Google Satellite at 10AM · · Score: 1

The real reason they obtained the Gsat was to find the Gspot.

Perhaps it would have been better to read the comments and see the torrent that was posted within the first three main posting?

  3. No charge?? on Microsoft to Disable Online Windows Activation · · Score: 1

"There is never, and has never been a charge associated with activation." Umm, yeah, except for when I have to call on my cell phone because I don't have a land line. Or perhaps I should go down to the nearest pay phone? Yeah, that would work great.

  4. Re:Spam on Eisenstadt's Analysis Of 8 Years' Worth Of Email · · Score: 1

bah, that is nothing. Here is an actual log from a few domains I manage: Viewing spam statistics for the last 7 days. Number Of Messages % of Total Mail Total Emails 20136 100 Total Detected Spam 19774 98.20 yes, that is right, last week our e-mail was 98.2% complete JUNK for a company of 25 people. I don't know where you are all getting this nice 40% and 50% from.

"In other news, michael buys car and is shocked to discover must buy gas for it continue working" RIGHT! It is more like I buy a car, know it needs gas. Ooopps, turns out we are no longer going to make gas because the companies that made gas went out of business. You still have your car, you still have the roads. Other people with vehicles that run on Hydrogen or whatever can still drive. You can't convert your car to use something else because it is illegal. You must buy a different vehicle or find an underground mechanic to convert it for you and risk the penalties.

  6. Forceful registration and companies now gone on Valve Cracks Down on 20,000 Users · · Score: 1

I own a piece of software from 321studios. It REQUIRES active registration via the phone or internet. That company no longer exists. So the software that I paid $150 for about two years ago is now 100% useless if I have to reload EVER. And on that note, I will never buy forcefully activated software so long as I can possibly help it.
