  1. Re:Taking the Steam out... on Half-Life 2 Ship Date Confirmed · · Score: 0

"I could do without Counterstrike (gg awp)." ^ The | is the whole reason I dislike unmodded CS. I cannot stand the AWP or the CT shields. They REALLY ruin the "FUN" of the game. I use the scout often and usually have a even or better score. (Scout takes 2 hits unless in head). Unlike the AWP it's a 1 hit miracle machine that is even beefier in CS:S than it was in 1.6. 1.6 finally got the awp to be close to realistic. If they would just make it a MUST on the whole crouch thingy or make the cross hairs be MUCH slower retracting then it would be an even weapon... Bah frustrations :P

And so what? You won't be allowed to have a clock on your microwave? Date sensitive information is only going to matter if a date applies. Interfaces for things like microwaves/refrigerators etc... Will not be effected by this scenario even if they WERE running UNIX. But either way. Its 33 years away. The odds of us not being well being 32-bit processing is pretty bleak.

For the most part I agree with you. The problem being it will never change. This diversity is society. You seem to noice only the bad in every individual or event. Everyone is made up of both parts. People want change. We rarely take the steps neccisary to make the change happen. Or we attempt steps that are construed incorrectly causing an even worse image (Iraq). The point is: You have a choice. You understand your dislikes. You can either grumble and complain about them. Or do something. If ignorant people bother you. Don't force yourself into their environment.

Yea and a copywright violation has stiffer penalties than a petty CD theft. What is it now like 5 years 250 thousand dollars or something. (No one ever reads that annoying black screen at the beginning of movies) Plenty of kids get caught stealing stuff from stores. It's usually a slap on the wrist. Even an adult will pay some measly fine and maybe spend at most a few months in jail.

Troll or not. He's a criminal. The same type with the mindset that downloading a cheat for a game is okay. Disrupting others play/recreation is fun. People like this make me sick. Even if he is attempting to play devil's advocate I still believe to come up with shit like this he has to be pondering it. Do us all a favor. Instead of buying a new Vid card buy a nice new handgun and 2 bullets. Has to be two bullets because I am afraid you might be to incompetent to get it right the first try.

His logic sounds pretty solid to me. He considers any illegal copying or physical theft of Intellectual/Copywritted material wrong. Downloading a binary has no "victim". Either way. Microsoft/Bungies stance appears to be toward talking about the leak. Things like "I got a copy and this game Rulez!!!" or "You can go snag a copy HERE WWW.XXX.com!!!!" Either way it will not reflect the public. The players who want to OWN the software will buy it. The people who want Warez will download the english version after release anyway.
