I used to find OpenOffice lacking of clip-arts. This will make a great combination with OO. (I haven't used OO for a while, so if OO has many clip-arts now, please excuse me). I used to think open source is lagging in the graphics department, but its nice to see advancements like this.
I don't live in US. I read about people not turning up for voting. But I saw the long queues on TV. What is the turnout? Is it better than previous elections or is it the same or worse?
Can't wait for Microsoft to buy out DoubleClick and TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
Actually that makes a bit sense. Not the taking over the world part, but the Microsoft buying Doubleclick part. Microsoft seems interested in things like Search Engines, so why not advertising? Microsoft is trying to get into the "content serving" industry, so this seems like a sensible thing to do...
The discussion between Tanenbaum and Torvalds isn't exactly a flame war like many people think. It's a serious discussion between two serious, intelligent people. And there is no hard feeling between them. And Tanenbaum has done a lot of other things than arguing with Linus Torvalds. IMHO, we should stop referring to Tanenbaum as the guy who argued with Linus Torvalds a million years ago and credit him as the OS theorist that he is.
I once tried to install FreeBSD on my system. I couldn't get X and many other apps to work. And installation wasn't very "pleasant". So, here is my question: Can an ordinary user like me use FreeBSD?
There are more computer users in the US than many other countries. So, are "hackers" in US sitting back because of fear?
Actually, this cannot be attributed to tougher law enforcement or any other similar reasons. The thing is that there are not that many big Viruses/Worms/Anything-else-you-want-to-call-them around. So the possibility of the virus-writer being from any random country is almost equal.

When a case is in the court what are the legalities to start a website like this? Isn't it some kind of disrespect to the court? Any lawyers here?
