I would guess the interfaces would at least be unified. Perhaps youtube will inherit the ability to download uploaded files in some format your platform knows how to handle. I would also guess that any google accounts will become automatic youtube accounts and versa vice. Maybe this would also include putting a gtalk capability into youtube so we can all tell brookers how great she is or isn't.
The study was based on comScore's regular panels for measuring Internet audiences, rather than MySpace's registration information, where users often lie about their age.
It's never about need... It's about money. It's probably not hard to put one together and maintain and they'll probably make a good amount of money. They also have quite a bit of leverage for promoting it along with anything they sell. "Buy an mp3 player from us and get 10 free song downloads!" The music store doesn't even have to be the main selling point when free songs might be the deciding factor on where to get your mp3 player.
I have used the Opera browser for years, and I am very happy with it.
I must say, the reason I wanted to avoid Opera is not because of the software itself. It's the political reasons. I don't lose very much by staying with FireFox, who's open source ideals I agree with more than Opera. That's assuming Opera truly is better. I do, however, respect Opera for sticking their neck out as an alternative browser.
I've been a musician for years and many of my friends have. Is this game fun for non-musicians? I never got into DDR, but I'm not a dancer and don't particularly think dancing has the appeal pretending to be a rock star might have...
Oblivion coming to PS3 is good news for Sony, but it's already on PC and Xbox 360. Everyone who would play this game, probably already will have played by the time PS3 launches.
So, sure, it's good news for Sony to have an rpg of the year at launch, but it was rpg of the year long before PS3 was available...
I think I agree that they're looking for a leak. Reverse Engineering is against the DMCA and should be enough to nail the guy, but they're persisting anyway.

People aren't anti-ie because they're agnostic. It's all religion when it comes to browsers.
Are you kidding?! Too many people are already in bands writing stupid music. I'm totally fine with them doing this instead!

Xbox is great. Windows sometimes really isn't.
How did you get to use vmware for zero cost?
I'll back him up. Kind of. I propose requiring a third source. Anyone want to reiterate?

Judging from http://www.slackware.com/announce/11.0.php it looks like slack is still using a lot of old packages. Is there a reason? Apache 1.3. Kernel 2.4. Etc...
Is this possible?

Speak for yourself! I would've survived.
If it can't be delivered to Bush by Nov 7th, the midterm elections could make a significant diffeence in whether this is approved.
Is it just hype or is this still an effective tool?
"What is this window doing here?! I just want to get to paypal already..." *clicks ok* "There. Now I can finish this ssn and cc verification..."

Do they? I haven't exactly kept track of this...
That's silly. PS3 is trying to take out the XBox.
