i knew the weather was chaotic in nature and that is why we cannot predict things definately, but rather probably.
?
however, wouldn't climate predictions be very chaotic as well? both weather and celestial bodies are chaotic in nature, and climate has to do with both to a degree
even if one can make stab-in-the-dark guesses about such things, i really can't accept the validity of anything. as i undersatnd it, the fact that weather becomes more chaotic does not necessarily mean that chaotic weather results. it means the accuracy to which we can predict it decreases over time, because the number of answers (or attractors) increases at an insane rate creating an un-readable graph.
perhaps i'm missing something key? i'd love to know the parts i'm missing.
i'm in highschool... and programming intimidates me. call it something like 'neat computer tricks' and teach kids how to, oh, i dont know, use the 'save as' button. that seems to baffle most of my school.....
people with library cards view books for 'free'.... people with library cards also never return the books and supply the library with lots of money to keep everything in order. in a way it's still a paid service.
i am guessing that something like this will require a lot of money, perhaps even after it's finished to fix this or that... (someone pays someone for webspace alot of the time... and labor...)
where is the money coming from?
also seems kind of like napster but with books....
very, very true. i know if you gave me a new OS i'd panic... in fact, i'm going to get one soon and i'm already panicking. i at least have an ounce of willpower to know things need to change.... but in reality, i might in fact die.
i can't even imagine the mass hysteria that would arise when the general public was forced to switch. my classmates can't make the switch from ME to XP without confusion, and my dad panics if a page loads too slowly.... a different setup altogether? yikes.
i convinced my HS to try mozilla in at least one lab out of 3.... hopefully they'll realize it's better and switch them all to it. the kids are over their initial shock and u know.. terror.... but i showed about half of the school how to use mozilla (yes, they're all that technophobic) and i think we're on the right track. even some average people are convinced mozilla is better now. =) i hearing about this info spreading in so many places now.
what about us females? i had a disturbing thought. if the heat is what supposedly makes guys sterile, and girls put those heating pads down in that general area for cramps during period, or halfway between periods (ovulation).... could that damage any of our insides? er... maybe someone should look into this?
yah i like mozilla.... IE makes me sorta paranoid and uncomfortable and mozilla gives me that warm fuzzy feeling, and this is from someone who knows virtually nothing about computers (technically). i think if even i can notice a difference, i must be on to something....
it was supposed to be i heart geeks but it takes the carrot part of the heart as html.... grr... i thought it wouldnt since i dont have another one... oh well. but yah ur all wonderful ^_^
oh hello. just so slashdot knows, females do read this lovli page =) i wish i were half as smart as all of u, and i 3 geeks. it's so sad that alot of u dont get enough luv. i luv u all =)
