Trying so hard to not reply to off-topic post.....
darn, I failed...
I believe that God kinda did his thing, set it up, created some rules we call physics and let it go. I believe he intended us to be created through evolution. My God lives in my belief of him (for personal reasons of the so many little coincdences that cannot be explained by pure randomness). I feel that he wants us to learn more and more. I do not attribute God to the unknown. That is the goal of science to understand the unknown.
Basicly, God is God. He exists in everything. He made physics and let it role. We were intended to exists and to learn the rules we call physics.
That may not be completly coherent, sorry.
I don't mean this to be shameless advertising(, because we don't make money off of this, the pennies we make from cafepress is put towards server expenses).

So that's what 3 button mouses were used for....
I always thought it was the other way around. Every sysadmin (including myself) I've ever talked to has never used a mouse on unix (who needs it. nothing beats a keyboard and cmd line; nothing)
So maybe the heiarchy (from smartest to other) should be:
0 buttons for the unix user
1 button for the mac (does this mighty mouse even have a button or is it kindo the mouseis the buttons?)
3 buttons for the PC
If your refering to my reply, then I guess I didn't read it over. And also, your logic is flawed as in that the Javascript language is universal, so it is not my fault that IE can't handle my coding (which runs well and there are no flaws in it).
I do find it in bad taste to mkae an entire reply to someones typos (even thought I accknolege that mine are fairly bad). At least make comment to soemthing pertaining to the topic, then add your bitterness.
As a web programmer, it bothers the h*ll out of me to see something that says "This browser not supported." I have no trouble writting some complicated stuff that works in ALL browsers and platforms. I use standrd XHTML, CSS, and javascript. What annoys me is that IE doesn't support all sights... the "hover" midifyer in CSS doesn't work for anythign but a href's, not even jsut a tags, it must have an href. I mean geeze, jsut work. Firefox and Opera are my favorites to use. As for ActiveX, I never saw a need for it. I coudl always accomplish what I wanted to via a standard, excepted way.
DNS exist because of legacy, right? The internet was designed before the advent of P2P. Also, without a central databse, how much slower woudl it be to find a page, for the p2p to search all connected servers?
Also, what does ICANN do? What does any inet gov body do? I thouhgt the w3c made nice rocemnendations that everyone jsut sort-of follows (except ie, but that's a nother story:))
