More students would have laptops than a Kindle (or even an iPhone), so a pdf format eBook would reach more students. Or, try uploading and selling on one of the non-proprietary multi-format eBook stores - you're not limiting your market to one hardware platform then.
I see few answers to the 'have you used the retail version yet' question!
I've used the beta and I'm installing the retail, because unfortunately I work with clients who are going to be asking about it and wanting software to support it, so I'd better be ready.
So far the main difference (I haven't got past the installation yet) seems to be a canny install screen saying 'upgrade may take several hours to complete'. Remember good old Win '98, which could be installed in less than an hour? Seems like minutes have gone out of fashion in Redmond.
One thing about the upgrade is reassuringly familiar: 'expanding files' halts at 21% for a couple of hours before moving on. Currently (3 hours later) it's 'Completing Upgrade', which has been at 36% for the last 30 minutes.
JMS quickly followed up this with a retraction of his call for fans to contact paramount. He was told that Trek was now going on a hiatus for a year or so and NO new Trek would be considered for commission until then.
It may not be a Crusade spin-off. It could be pre-Crusade, and post B5 (or even in the timeframe of Season 5). There was a gap of a few years between the two when Galen was just 'floating around', not affiliated to any particular series.
I'd be more worried about steering malfunctions that might end up like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8zsdIQe9UQ

... just pay me for the photos I'm taking for you too, and you can have them!
