    Yes, bug K5 was a lot less complex. There's a lot more room for bugs in modern CPU designs.

    I called NetFlix and they informed me that it was a technical issue. The programmer's new upcoming features apparently are buggy when interacting with accounts with multiple profiles and instead of fixing the bugs, the programmers decided to axes profiles. So they aren't above lying to customers. No surprise there.

    I know of a VOIP gateway product that uses a 2.0 kernel. There is no good reason to change to a newer kernel and doing so would require updating several device drivers.

    How do you define good? I found it to be extremely slow and quite buggy. In fact I'd say it sucked.

    One thing makes Google by prefered search engine now: it gives me relevant results. Alta Vista appears to favor paid submissions over the actual search terms and returns mostly crap on my searches.

    I don't think they can compel you to give up the
    password for criminal cases. Civil cases are another story though.
