I'm running the new FF on 3 machines now and it's great so far! I do want NoScript but since so many sites are so horribly broken I've mostly run NoScript permissive. really zero complaints so far. I did wonder what is that weird space between the icons (back/forward/reload/home) and the URL bar. Like if they left justified it then they could show more of the URL.
You can remove that space. Right click on it and select remove from toolbar
I am probably in the minority here (this place loves to complain) but I love the update. The new GUI is great once I got used to it and set the Dark Theme, plus it is noticeably faster. As for extensions, most of the ones I use are supported, and the ones that didn't i discovered i either didnt need or had functionality replacements available in the browser now that I didn't realize since never looked.
This isn't a big deal, geesh let them earn some cash as they provide you stolen content (sorry copy infringement). How much CPU time is this really? Users are on the site probably couple minutes at most (find torrent, start torrent, close browser).
Some Netflix original content is quite good -- for example Narcos or the first 2 seasons of House of Cards. But the future is looking bleak when everyone wants to run their own streaming service.
Settings->General->Accessibility->Button Shapes & Settings->General->Accessibility->Bold Text
I've showed these two changes to many many friends, all of whom are so grateful. This doesnt fix everything, but at least you can see the OS level navigation properly. Maybe this flat design stuff will start to decline with this report...
Forgot this one setting. This gives back some contrast to the redicoulous color scheme in iOS post v6. These 3 settings are what made iOS usable for me after v6:)

There is something disappointing that punching someone earns 2 people $175 million dollars. Shame we dont have as much enthusiasm for Nobel laureates as we do for sports and the oscars.
I have one and I just dont get it. First of all as a touch-typer I never look at the keyboard. Therefore, it's completely awkward to have to look down at the keyboard from the screen to see some shortcuts buttons that randomly appear. Also, the buttons that appear arent useful at all so far. Fact is I only got the model because I wanted the Touch ID button (which also not very functional compared to the iPhone).
This topic of auto play video nightmares comes up all the time. Very annoying stuff I agree. But apparently everyone has just been suffering with it by the comments I always see.
I installed Flash Control https://addons.mozilla.org/en-... forever ago and never see them. Despite its name, it blocks HTML5 videos as well. Everything is click to play, as it should be. I whitelist youtube and moved on with my life. Are others not aware of these kinds of extensions?
This chrome addition is nice and everything...but auto-muted videos are presumably still loading, using cpu time and bandwidth.
Thank you so much for this add on! I hope it really stops the auto play video on pretty much every news web page nowadays!
Excellent point, the state employment laws dramatically differ. And agree, specifically want an employment lawyer (a normal lawyer wont usually know the intricacies of these things).
The issue is that there is a legal concept called "restraint of trade." You cant from a non-compete stop someone from working in their profession and provide for themselves. A lot of these non-competes end up violating this concept which is why the courts are frequently not supporting employers in non-compete disputes.
So WSJ wants what is essentially free advertising for its articles. If it's so important, WSJ should pay Google with Ad Sense like every other company.
They've had this sort of tech to read digital images for decades. Papnet is used to read pap smears since the mid-1990s.

So, close the tab when youre done finding and starting the torrent.

Sprint killed Nextel, and all the innovation was lost. Not a great merger.

So let me get this straight, they've already lost a lot of non-Netflix created content, will lose Disney in 2019, and now they're raising the price?
Maybe the hackers can make these voice assistants actually work well (i.e. Siri), and do something actually useful?
Missed your morning cup of coffee eh? Or just normally obnoxious early in the morning?
Put in an SSD, that will really help it. Amazing how a SSD brings old systems to new life

This was a big goof up by apple.

You *should* be using two-factor auth, which comes at premium sub.
Wrong. Multifactor is in free teer. Advanced multifactor is extra. Read next time
I most remember him from his recent role in entourage! Is that something you'd be interested in? Haha
The article is click bait. As stated in the article, Amazon has not confirmed ANY of the assertions made in the article.

Tickets and electronic tickets work fine. This isn't an issue. How about give us more space on the planes instead of spending money on this stuff?
