    there should be a record of EVERYTHING that goes on around a patrol car when either its stopped or the lights/sirens are going (full 360 coverage)

    get clever and have it stamped with a running hash of timestamp/frame content (to prevent tampering) and things should calm down.

    Of course part of this is in any case that the deciding evidence is the Video Record if that record is MISSING it should result in the LEO losing the case.

    6 absolutely no mimicking SYSTEM level elements or hiding existing ones (gimme a proper close button that does so)

    7 No Audio or Animations

    have you tried following the schematic EXACTLY?

    The books were HAND DRAWN by mimms himself after he built the designs multiple times.

    unless you are talking about tolerances a couple ticks below what the designs were setup for.

    If this was a PREVIEW copy or a LATE PROTOTYPE then it was not IFixits property to tear apart (even if they did put it back together properly).

    what i would do is put tamper seals on the item and stick a clause

    "Receiver is hearby forbidden to dissemble . reverse engineer or other wise tamper with the product and will forfeit all future early access if any seals are missing or damaged"
