Microsoft Office Documents are in XML !!! You can play with MSXML (with its xslt proc) if you want, even in vba =o)... Sure, when MS will understand that the first XML feature is to be HUMAN-READABLE ??? Anyone seen or worked on theses crappy "open" Office 2003 XSD, and did not try to commit suicide or murder ? Guns don't kill people, MS Do

of HEL (Hardware Emulation Layer) on DirectX ?

Seems like you can play a 3D Game on WinXP/DirectX without having the last-last-last features... MS people are capable of providing such features...

Don't think MS would one second think about saying people : "Yeah, your simple hardware cannot make our system works...". There will surely be 2 or 3 different modes, and MS/Constructors will make everything to do the thing work...

And yeah, MacOS X is greaaaat ! it supports soooo much different hardware ! It must have been difficult to take advantage of the 3 or 4 video cards it supports.

Please compare what can be compared... and don't assume MS people are commercial dumbasses or that you're the only ones thinking about *compatibility*
