  1. Re:GameCube / Revolution anyone? on Xbox360 Pricing, 2 Models at Launch · · Score: 1

I bought every single sytem since the SNES launch day (except for the PSP... I don't really see much use for it) and in all honesty, I haven't touched my PS2 in at least 8 months, I only use my Xbox occasionally for Live, but I'm always playing my DS or SP, and my Gamecube get played at least three times a week. I may be a weirdo, but I don't think power equals good games. Of course, one needs a decently powered system to be able to draw graphics, but I don't need my gaming system competing with NASA for the most powerful supercomputer title.

Am I the only person who thinks that maybe, just maybe, your actions are your responsibility? I mean damn... if these kids are smart enough to know that they can just blame their actions on a video game, they're smart enough to know that said game wasn't made for their age group, and shouldn't be played by their age group. It's people like this that keep people like Joe Liberman up our collective asses.

  4. Is this going to raise CD prices too? on Labels Trying New CD Copy Prevention Systems · · Score: 1

CD's cost enough as it is. It's hard to find albums cheaper than $20 where I live, and the only time it's less is when the album is old, everyone hates it, and has bad B.O. Is it just me, or is this going to make the price of CD's skyrocket? It had to take a lot of time to develop this new format and make it work on everything. Seriously, if albums were about $10-$12, There would be no reson not to buy CD's new. I think if they used that strategy, CD sales would really pick up for the record companies. Anyone agree?
