uhh... neither? You must be a PSP fan:P (just kidding:D Please dont hurt me, mods!)
Seriously, this is more a game review than an ad. Zonk played the games and wrote a review for each saying why certain people would like each game. It's not an ad.
I doubt it. The one problem with Token Ring was that, while in theory it was supposed to protect against packet collisions, it ended up having many packet collisions due to poorly conceptualized and poorly created hardware. Even if it did reach 100mbps, it would have been dated in comparison to highly refined demand-priority system used later on. Even if a bank does use Token Ring, it would be hard for them to find an engineer who is 1) able to properly troubleshoot it and 2) not retired (I could be wrong with the last one. Please correct me if I am. I have no idea as to how many modern network engineers know how to maintain Token Ring).
Most banks, like every other modern corporate environment, are using the familiar arrangement of switches with a router.
Technology Writer! There are journalists and writers who just write about technology, new and upcoming trends, even how-tos in coding. These people also get some nifty benefits, such as presspasses (free admission due to press-hood) to Microsoft conferences (WinHEC and PDC, to name a few).
You might fit into the little niche for writers who talk about upcoming trends in coding and solution development.
Granted the fact that, as someone already mentioned, we already knew this, we still don't have a definite explanation as to why the waters are warming up. Environmentalists say global warming thanks to oil. Oleum (latin for oil... it's where the term "Petroleum" comes from) companies say it's a result of excess water in the atmosphere or that it's part of a constant cycle. Each side needs to defend their cred, but one better turn out to be right, because these hurricanes/cyclones/typhoons are killing more and more people by the year.
Ok, so we can easily find anomalies caused by nature, but how about anomalies caused by us? I mean things like Area 51 and nuclear bomb test sites... I wouldn't mind seeing a few of those.
And another question: I can understand the risk that this may pose for enterprise servers (Virtual Server systems, just to name one), but does this hold any implications for client VMs?
I mean, if they're that close to human beings in terms of genetics, couldnt we just turn them into uber-smart rats? (mice with massive brains, etc.)
100,000 is a bargain for a mouse with psychic powerz
I have always recommended C# as a beginner language simply because it is very organized. VB (during the old days) was easier to learn because alot of it was behind the scenes, but now that everything is put out in the open with VB, C# is a better option because it's less confusing. It just has this "orgamizedly arranged" feel to it.
The new controller helps disabled gamers AND it helps obese couchpotatoes lose some arm-flab! score!!!
Doesnt this make us want to...
on
Obesity Contagious?
·
· Score: 2, Interesting
Doesnt this just encourage us to stay away from fat people? If word gets out of the geek community, then people would stay away from fat people because they dont want to get fat, making fat people feel lonely, depressed, and suicidal.
this would increase the amount of discrimination cases against obese people dramatically:-s
I am in the Vista beta program, and the latest build has UAP implemented in a rather annoying way. Seeing as to how 5270 was nearly code-complete, will there be any change in how the UAP is implemented so as to not bug the user? I know many people in the beta besides me are bugged about this issue. (It takes 5+ steps to delete a shortcut on a desktop! Come on!)
The last thing Science has left to prove is the existance of God. Of course, this brings us back to the babelfish:
"But the odds of such a creature coming into existance are so unbelievably small, that it proves that You exist!"
"I haven't thought of that" He says, and promptly disappears in a puff of logic.
Ok, let's wait until 2018 when we see DirectX 20...
DirectX XX DirectXXX
ok... quinsensory stimulation it is... but it would really suck to have to deal with DRM when you go to lick a... nevermind

Beer handling robots from a toy company? Anyone else see a potential clash of ideals here?
...unless of course, these are to be sold in adult toy stores. If that's the case, I'd ask it to do more than just bring me beer.
We see all of this, and yet no one has bothered to sue Claria yet... even AFTER they announced their restructuring plan.
Please sue Claria!

We use really fast neutron stars which generate radio waves in order to encrypt our content?
So if someone has a list of all quasars and their radio frequencies, can't they brute force the message and break it in, what, 20 seconds?
Universal Pictures is doing this?
...and the MPAA hasn't responded yet? It's taking the MPAA this long to respond to a dangerous "piracy" issue?
Holy shit, dude.
10x? So if Im getting 72 fps on UT2007, I can expect 720 fps as a result of this technology?
damn, that's quite an improvement!
Seriously though, am I the only one who thinks TFA meant 10%? (% = percent)

A patch in 2 hours for a massive security hole in an OS, on a sunday as mentioned earlier. Class, let's do a comparison:
:P
Ubuntu devs fix a massive hole in a few hours, tops
Microsoft devs fix a massive hole (WMF security bug) in two weeks-ish...
Which group put more people at risk and why? I want a 5000 word essay by this thursday explaining your views.
This one's definitely going to need caching by CoralCache and MirrorDot: it got dugg as well.

I dont know; I could be making myself look like a fool but I don't think Java and Efficient go together, no matter what you do to either.
Here's one which shouldve been on the list: syphilis :P
Ill *safely* call this a gimick for now, but to be honest...
I wont be surprised if this does end up getting off the ground in a few yea--er, decades (pun definitely intended)

I found it ok, but some of the things they did were a waste (who wastes a good bottle of Coke on a cleaning job? -_-;;)
I could've had that bottle...
