I know how you feel. I consider myself a regular gamer but nothing has caught my interest as of late. The last game I completed and loved was Resident Evil 4 -- Did you try this yet?
I have great hope for the future (Zelda - Twilight Princess - GC, New Super Mario Bros. - DS, Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion - PC, and UT 2007 - PC) But the present kinda stinks!
Forget about DES, MD5, Blowfish, and all those 'old' crypto techniques. People need to start focusing on what really matters... getting me free satellite TV!:)
The trick was to stay 1 level below everyone else so they couldn't attack you when you stayed at the inn. Nobody could handle a 'deathblow' special attack, even when I was 2 levels below them:)
This interview was everything I was expecting it to be. It made the Microsoft OSS research department sound like an OS multicultural utopia. I was hoping there would be some mention of drobbins http://www.gentoo.org/news/20050613-drobbins.xml
How is Daniel Robbins fitting in at Microsoft? Is he respected or ridiculed? These are the questions I wanted to see asked.
He moved mountains in the Open Source community, and he did it all from his own pocket book. I imagine he is getting all the respect he deserves there, but I would like to hear a little bit about it.
Option 1
kazaa lite is like the holy grail of windows p2p clients. If you search near and far then you just might be able to get your hands on this piece of p2p goodness.
Option 2
grab giFT! This is the most amazing p2p client I've come across because you can install modules that allow it to connect to all the p2p networks! gnutella, fast track and others at the click of the mouse!

Just don't broadcast your SSID! This will prevent war-drivers/feds from detecting your network, thus making them move onto a much more worthy target :p
/me fixes his tinfoil hat
The feds can probably crack 128bit encryption with their eyes shut.
