These are well-spotted. Remember that readers of newspapers will not know what an index is. They have this simplistic picture of the Internet in their heads.
Yes, I contradicted myself somehow. You need to look at the two parts of my reply separately.
About Firefox, try what I do and use kedit or the like to run a spellcheker (ALT+T+S). It takes 2 seconds to copy and paste text and I invoke kedit using CTRL+ALT+E (xbindkeys).

People who monitor log files know best where to look and what to ignore. It is better to incorporate filtering into the application that generates the logs.
Seems little more impressive than Fedora at present. As said already, the screen-shot tour says very little. What I care most about is the bundle of software and games that comes with the distro.
That's a good point. The author is from 'Palm Addict' so he probably knows that the unnecessary bits can (and should) be disabled. With a good browser, for example, you can control bandwidth better. I can't think of analogies for audio and video...
The trend was known throughout the year as well, but was never served as a statistic. This finally positively affects the way I (and many others) design sites, in terms of bandwidth.
This step proves that SuSE provides a better-founded platform for deployment of large systems. I have preached in favour of SuSE for quite some time and I can finally do networking at greater ease.

That's more or less the reason to download Knoppix. xsnow, and the rest of the stuff around it... GIMP, Quake 3, etc.
Now, seriously, if Knoppix indeed offers graphics card support and good compatibility with PC game, I'm in!
I have had about a dozen different operating systems requesting data from my Web site. Never once did SkyOS come up. I'd imagine it's more of a wannabe O/S so the port is of merely any practicality, if any.

It matters to the author. If a tree falls in the woods and nobody hears a sound, does it really fall?
And this coming year we'll see actions being taken against bloggers... get ready for word of 2005: "lawsuit".
The registry in Window$ keeps separate values for separate programs, much as is done in all these dot (.) settings files...
