You may not have access to the EVDO service but if Verizon actually has their own towers set up in your area and aren't leasing time on some other carriers towers, you can get the slower version of their internet service (I forget the name). Basically, if you have a Verizon phone and your phone says "extended network" all the time, then you can't get it. If not, then it should be all good.
Also, you can get EVDO access on one of their PDA based phones for about 45 dollars a month. And if your skills are up to the challenge, you can enable DUN via bluetooth on said PDA and save the 35 extra bucks monthly. I know, I have both.
Actually, you can only list for free on Amazon if you sign up for "Pro Merchant" status. Which, incidentally, costs $39.95 a month after the first 3 months.
I find a good rule of thumb in my own ebay and amazon business activities is, never NEVER click on a link contained in an email sent from either of those sites.
Always just go to amazon.com or ebay.com and navigate to the page you want. Phishers have gotten quite proficient at sending fake invoices to sellers that look just like the real thing.
Just for the record: the reason people do that is to avoid the exhorbitant final value fees ebay charges on the selling price as ebay doesn't charge any percentage of the shipping price. So if the FVF was 15 percent, that would be $0.15 for a 1 dollar sale. And the $999 for shipping would be yours to keep. If you were to sell the ibook for $999 and a nominal shipping fee, you would be charged $150 as a commission. Big difference obviously.
Someone needs to check their facts. Both WWI and WWII involved Germany. The reason for Hitler's rise to power was that he blamed Germany's weaknesses and resultant loss in the first world war on the Jews. Towards the end of WWII the Allied forces defeated Germany and Hitler committed suicide thus ending Germany's fight. Japan happened to think it was a good idea to bomb Pearl Harbor in Hawaii starting the chain of events leading to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
> What connection do local call centres have with a banks customers that people who live further don't?
The GP isn't comparing American call centers to Indian ones. The contrast is Indian call centers vs. the bank actually handling customer care services inhouse with their own employees.
It stands to reason that an employee of the actual bank itself living here in America and subject to American laws and consequences is less likely to participate in these type of shenanigans than somebody working in some call center thousands of miles away in some other country.
Buy another printer just like it and put the damaged one in the new box to return. You get your printer in working condition along with the rebate you wanted and they get the damaged printer and a nice box complete with UPC symbol attached.

That was hilariously funny! If only I had mod points today. Thanks
That's some funny shit. Thanks for my first good laugh of the day.
Prior to becoming a "Pro Merchant" it costs $0.99 per item to list.

Or maybe he's just a whiney bitch that needs to fuck off.

Such original and brilliant rhetoric; and the name calling was a nice touch too. You're so cool!
Wow, 4 posts and already we come to the America bashing. That didn't take long.
