not to mention apps writen in carbon, will have all of os x pluses, but can also run natively in os 9 do to the carbon lib. AppleWorks 6 is one of these apps. you can run it fine in os 9, and it runs fine in os x too, no launching of the bluebox, and its gui gets aquaized too.
when iMacs were first released there was no iMove software. It just started being inlcuded in the DV models which were 3 or 4 revisions after the original (I forget exactly)
although no one will probably read this as its long gone, this picture is absolutely a fake, where as many claim to be running dp3 i actually am, ive yet to see the "new" menu bar (white with stripes) show up in the blue box, b. i've yet to see the dock show up in the blue box (though beer as feigned my memory on this one) but C. which i do know for a fact, yellow box aps (grab.app etc etc) do _not_ show up in the applicaiton menu of the blue box, and it doesnt exist in the yellow box
no the song in the x-men trailer is a remix of a song called "chinese burn" by a band called curve, who's singer is a total babe. they had a somewhat garbage sound before garbage was around, in fact, sometimes garbage sounds so much like them its sad. anyway to pick up all your favorite curve cds go to cdnow heh
FYI its just a click and hold, no double clicks, no option keys, no theres not a setting somewhere you have to choose to remove the "option" part of it, just click and hold
ok i was gonna make some bland comment on how yay for macs yay for linux but then i got distracted.. i went to imaclinuxand justsomething about their layout looked so darned familiar.. now maybe its my trained eye but, i dunno im probablyt just drunk on newcastle
because the orginal comment was asking " Yes, one piece at a time, but only selected pieces. I'd like to see you upgrade the processor. " so i was pointing to processor upgrades thats all, im not complaining i already ordered my g4.:>
actually i stand corrected, after double checking (as all good/.'rs should do when posting out their ass) you are indeed correct about the os's only hadnling 1.5 gigs o ram, but to save face, i was also correct about the apps only being able to use 999 megs
"Yes, one piece at a time, but only selected pieces. I'd like to see you upgrade the processor. " eh upgradding processors has never been easier:> i will kindly point you attention to newertech xlr8 vimage or any of the other numerous processor upgrade people. hell they even made my old box upgradable to a g3 via an l2 cache slot upgrade, now that was some ingenuity
wont _always_ be that way, it just includes a G4 right now to limit the number of purchases so as to not be backordered for months at a time, im sure once things pick up price will go down some and be available solo

ha that's funny, i was playing with DP4 tonight and felt all geeked out when i ran top :)
it's pronounced "ten"
dp4 will be released to developers today after the keynote
as reported on macnn and other sites
the real requirements as listed by many mac sites, are those of, OS 8.6 64 Megs of RAM, and a G3 (even a beige will do)

it isn't a rumor, sheesh, it's done it's released, man....
I think that was sarcasm from one of them witty peecee types dude
no they havn't, it doesn't in dp3, however Jobs did mention this would be something that would be implemented by the release version

the new boxes themselves can hold 1.5 gigs of ram but the actual os (least in my understanding) can use more.
though apps themselves can only use 999 megs
