Give me a break! They know what power they are wielding and they are abusing that power by not be very careful in who they add to their blacklist. As others have pointed out, being wrongly placed on a blacklist can have catastrophic consequences to a small business.
That's just not realistic. If you even get a manual with a retail store computer these days it tells you nothing about repair -- other than dial the toll-free number. The goal should not be to make everyone experts on their computers, VCRs, cable boxes, washing machines, etc. The goal should be for computers, appliances, and software to be simple and robust enough that you DON'T need to RTFM. The problem is in the design and interface, not with the end users.
Although it is true there are many, many influences on the making of a film, the director generally makes the biggest difference. Even a great director may not be able to take a bad script and make it into a great movie, but he can raise it from a C- to B- grade. It is the director who takes the vision and gives it life. He is the one coordinating all the pieces into the whole of the movie. The one making sure the camera angles support the intended mood of a scene. The one making sure the actors know what is going on in the minds of the characters. The one who makes sure the special effects support the movie, and that they don't become the movie.
Please read the post on this thread by Allgood2. I'm not getting through to you, maybe his words will. Empathy seems to elude you. It has to do with honestly trying to understand things from someone else's point of view. In particular someone without the advantages that you yourself may have.
You still seem to be implying that elderly are fools if they are duped. I hope I am misreading your intentions. The elderly grew up in a different world and it can be difficult for them to keep up with the vulnerabilities opened up by technology they don't understand. Also, some elderly have diminshed mental capacity through no fault of their own. Being duped does not make one a fool.
Could you please elaborate a bit on why SQL is not relational? I do use it a bit, am not an expert, and would appreciate a little education on this issue.

Or, perhaps you should work on your delivery.

There was no offered strawman. In my post I explicitly said I hoped I was misunderstaning your comments.
