Corporations already advertise on twitter, for free! Look at nike plus twitter feed http://twitter.com/Nikeplus They make proper use of channels too so it's already targeted ads!
Geode is a bit underpowered but for a file server and torrent daemon, it's plenty enough. Comes with an internal 80gb hdd but can also boot from usb, btw 4 usb ports is really great. Fanless and uses less than 10 watts! It also comes with ubuntu pre installed.
I have a PocketPC pda, a mp3 phone and a mp3 player, none of which can synchronize with itunes on my imac !!! I *must* buy a more expensive and with less features ipod if I want to sync my itunes music collection on the go....
Yeah, I agree that the quality of the kernel is going downhill... Know about the ipconntrack bug on kernel 2.6.10 ? When an outgoing session goes into connect timeout, it's not flushed from ipconntrack and pollutes the table for 2 days ( default setting ).
This bug applies on all subversion of 2.6.10 and has been corrected on 2.6.11. It's been a major pain to upgarde kernels via SSH and reboot blindfolded and finger crossed all our external client machines....
Everybody loves Vuvuzela, I even made an Android app for it: http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/sports/vuvuzela-soccer-world-cup_hyzb.html :)
More than 10000 downloads in 3 days! People will soon learn how to play Vuvuzela at musical school
