Why is everyone up in arms about the killing of civilians? It's the best way to demoralize your enemy, just show that you have no qualms of wiping out large numbers of his civilians and he will back down once the public realizes that if they just stop fighting it will stop.
I'm diagnosed with Severe Clinical Depression, was abused and bullied etc. I stopped taking my meds when I was 17 and stopped seeing any therapists. Wanna know how? I grew the fuck up. I was bullied every day and did the whole "dont give in just ignore them thing" and then one day I said fuck it, and started showing them if they wanted to fuck with me, they better be ready to fight and get hurt cause I'll fight dirty. Guess what, the bullying stopped. Depression is more times than not just in the person's head and they are choosing to let it get them down instead of just getting over it and moving on. As soon as I realized that I stopped 'needing' the drugs/therapy.
I'm 20, live with my girlfriend who is pregnant (18) at her parent's (trailer), am out on comp from my job as a carpenter, and I'm a republican. Social Security is a fucking scam. It would work if the government could keep it's hands out, but it can't. Even then it shouldn't be in existence because it's just another example of the government saying "I know a better way to use your money, give it to me." Let the people decide if they wanna save it for their old age (and in the process make more money off it than they would through paying into social security) or spend it if that's what they wish. The government should not be in the business of taking care of people and protecting them from making stupid decisions with their lives that do not affect/infringe upon the rights of anyone else.
They already have the option of rejecting it, it's called DON'T FUCKING BUY IT. I have NEVER myself nor seen anyone else have a gun held to their head by a man saying "Buy this computer with Windows or I'll blow your fucking brains out." I have less money and less freedom due to taxation being used to pay for ridiculous things such as the DHS, the Department of Education, and a whole host of other completely useless and unconstitutional programs/departments which do nothing but create bureaucracy upon bureaucracy and waste money without doing anything meaningful.
I am entirely against entitlements, be it welfare, free healthcare, anything which is paid for by myself and others unwillingly, taken at the point of a gun, but if it's going to happen it should ONLY be done at the state level. The federal government has no place in the matter.

Almost all games are the same boring characters over and over. Would you consider Metal Gear Solid to be a boring game because of it? The gameplay was great in Manhunt 1, but in Manhunt 2 I didn't even bother with Sane difficulty (normal) and went straight to Insane (hard) and it basically encouraged me to just ignore executions which were plentiful in Manhunt 1 and instead go all gungho terminator style with the shotgun and uzi.
Manhunt 1 was awesome, but Manhunt 2 was NOT worth the $40 I paid for it. The game encourages you to ignore executions except when necessary for the story, just run in guns blazing most of the time. I'd ban it just for sucking so hard.
It's that simple. Teach them to be self sustaining. Look at what happened to Zimbabwe (Zaire maybe?), when the blacks took control of the country, they kicked out all the white farmers to give the land to blacks to farm the land instead, and guess what happened. All of the super successful farming operations the whites had in place went to shit cause these people have no fucking clue how to manage anything. You can't expect an entire continent of people to go from the stone age to the near industrial age when they were first encountered by europeans and colonization occurred. They skipped so many technological advancements yet didn't go through the required sociological advancements that without just leaving them to their own devices with minimal outside interference only in the form of teaching, not handouts, will they ever hope to be self sustaining.
