  1. nigerian scams? on ChoicePoint Identity Theft Fallout Widens · · Score: 1
The fbi arrested a Nigerian guy yesterday in California, in association with the Choice Point data theft.
I was thinking it would be funny if Choice Point was scammed with one of those 419 emails:
    DEAR CHOICE POINT,

i am mariam abacha, widow of the late nigerian head of state, gen. sani abacha. after he death of my husband who died mysteriously as a result of cardiac arrest, i was informed by our lawyer,
that choice point would provide all data in exchange for 120,000,000.00 dutch mark.

    thanks and best regard
    mrs. mariam abacha

    Yes, it is freaky!

Once you locate a business you can scroll side to side, so I found a pic of my apartment.

Now it would have been really freaky if i was standing out front of my apartment staring blankly into the camera.

Now everything is separated everything out into independent systems/servers. any os, any language, and database server.

With languages like this were moving back again.
Sounds like 1980's CA-Clipper to me.

Either way, the buzz on .NET is fading and MS needs a new technology to keep marketing hype up.
