Personally I think KDE should take their time, and keep with the perfectly written code. They've got all the time in the world to address the needs of users, and they've already got a product that's better than Windows.
Plus, when you take your time and do something right it's easier to build upon that.
If that's true it doesn't say much for the long-term viability of our country.
