    it's interesting how understated the exhibit is. no velvet ropes, no pretty paneling on the walls. in fact, very little differentiates the exhibit from the rest of the museum. the mummies /are/ very well preserved. the plaques don't discuss the very interesting red dots that appear on some of them, but, then, it's a miracle the plaques are in english at all. if you happen to be in xinjiang with nothing to do, it's worth a visit

    The only thing that kids of today put their efforts into is dealing drugs, getting alcohol and committing crimes. Have you ever lived in one of our cities? The kids there do nothing apart from hang around doing these things, because they've never had any discipline or a good schooling system that encourages team sports and other activities. That's what they said about kids in the 1960s and 70s (and look at how successful they've become.) Generalizations, especially incorrect and offensive ones, should be avoided

    sigh. you can buy your way in an out of both harvard and yale, if you have money or power, and guess who had both! and i can't attack the 50,000,000 [idiots] without overgeneralizing [how could they be so dumb]. the wrong people voted for him, too. his tax plan is marginally better for the poor than gore's. anyway, our country scores so low on cognative abilities tests that a turnip could have voted more logically then 50,000,000 people.
