If other people are looking for a MP3 made me buy it story check this one out.
I heard Fatboy Slim's Praise You on the radio one morning as I got a ride to school, I loved the song, when I got to school I headed for the lab and searched audio find for praise you (I didn't know who it was by, but I guessed that was the name), found it and saved it to a zip disk.
When I got home, I put it on repeat and started looking for other songs, I found the album We've come a long way baby on IRC and downloaded it over two days.
I loved it, I went out and bought the album and then noticed a few other's sitting there, so I went home and downloaded a track of Better living through chemistry, and the the next day bought the album.
The cycle repeated and now I own 4 albums, and 5 singles, plus some other CD's that he has mixes on.
So without mp3's I would have just forgot about it and said oh well, but now I'm a serious fan, and was about to pay for tickets to his show but I got carded (18+ show) and couldn't.
So MP3's don't always screw artist over

When amazon did their product circles thing. A lot of people wrote letters and now it is an option to opt-out. I don't think that simple letters are going to do this but IMHO Amazon is responsive to customers, knowing how easy it is to go too another site.
So write those letters (no not a DOS attack:-)) and let your voice be heard.

"We have been prosecuting these alleged (Pokemon-related) gambling activities for the last several years," Weiss said. "When this matter came in as a potential additional case, apparently the conflicts check by the litigators did not pick up that the corporate side was representing 4Kids." Bold added by me.
Isn't Pokemon less then two years old???
These people make me so sick.

He and fellow fourth-grader Andrew said they spent thousands of dollars trying to get the scarce cards that are a big status symbol with their friends.
Ok a few questions
1. How did those kids get that much money 2. Wouldn't there parents notice that much being spent on cards?
I'm done ranting - Out

I'd ask you to consider that, many people who say they are Christians are not. They simply say they are, and act like it, but they don't follow it. Most Christians I know (who are true Christians) are rational and DO believe in science. They are just harder to convince but they do listen to reason.
The Church that (tries to) understands science, but agree's with the bible, is one that is most of/. wouldn't mind.
I do with people here wouldn't be so slanderous towards a group of people where some people are idiots.
Trolls are like "Sunday Christians" or extremist Christians. They don't belong, and can give everyone a bad reputation.

"According to sources quoted in the article, Microsoft has kept quiet about X-Box so as not to affect the launch of partner Sega's Dreamcast, which can also use Windows CE technology, but it will be released in Fall 2000 for under $300. The article speculates that based on Microsoft's history and business strategies, the machine will probably be an open platform, like the PC, allowing anyone to develop for it without having to become a Microsoft licensee. It is also possible that X-Box games will run on PCs without further modification. "

It's really cool that Mr. Torvalds is getting some recognition, asides from the main stream media.
Think this will improve the standing of Linux with PHBs?
