It gives them something to play with. Normal (L)users on the other hand just want their job done so they can go on with their lives. That is why you shouldn't let a computer geek design the user interface - computers are their lives.

I find Americans to be, on balance, very intelligent and well-informed. They tend to hold views similar to those of intelligent, well-informed people of other countries, with two exceptions:
