    Real Italian or Greek pizza has always been heart healthy.

    It's the obsession of American to stuff cheese in it and add lots of non-fish protein that messes it up.

    But a basic classic pizza is good for you.

    Yeah.

    Didn't think so.

    Look, in First World countries, you get high bandwidth internet that is 10-20 times faster than the US for $20 a month or less and you get fewer commercials and lower cable bills.

    We live in a Second World country.

    Actually, moderation is always ok. Too many eggs, as in 2 or more in every meal, probably not good.

    One or two every two or three days is fine. It's the grease you fry them in that has the most impact, so poach them or something.

    But you are correct: sex with a committed partner, regular meals (not yo yo diets), and stuff that reduces stress are all good for you.

    It doesn't work for older people in the first place, and we're only talking IGF-1 cancer.

    Look, want some useful science?

    Vitamin supplements are mostly a waste of time, if you're not about to get pregnant or participate in that, and you're far better off eating a varied diet low in meat with more fruits and vegetables, and getting mild to moderate exercise.

    There, free of charge.

    Most of the rest is just noise.

    Now, go get enough sleep and stop doing binge diets and binge drunks and stuff that stresses you out. If you want to fast for a week or two every ten years (if you do this, take vitamins and fruit or vegetable juice), that also helps.

    Most effects from radiation exposure didn't show up until exposed subjects were in their 40s or 50s, or at least that's what happened in the counties surround Hanford where we built the nuclear bomb.

    So, I wouldn't be all that happy about this short-term result.

    Some plants store heavy metals in their leaves over time, and kids eat them or play with them, putting almost anything in their mouths.

    It's like talking on your cell phone in a cafe or library, or like filming people illegally (in our state it's illegal without consent) and being surprised the natives don't like their souls taken away and turned into funny videos so they can be mocked worldwide just because some entitled jerk thinks it's "funny".

    I'll bet she texts when she drives and does this kind of thing everywhere else in her life.

    Sometimes action can cause people to legislate certain useful drugs as "illegal" or "controlled", when this is an emotional or societal reaction, not a neutral risk-based and behavior-based weighing of risks.

    Addiction is tied to addictive behavior, not "strength".

    I'd rather see detailed pharmacological studies before leaping into the "demon drug" category. Historically, we've failed on this measure many times.
