I was on my way back to Chicago Midway on a Southwest flight when I saw this outside my window seat. We were traveling east and it was several miles to our north, but impressive nonetheless. From my perspective, it was looked a lot like pictures you always see of comets. For the few seconds I was able to see it, it was burning white hot and got more intense just before it broke up into 3 pieces and quickly disappeared from site.
I'm not sure what it was, but it made for a fantastic show!
I realize that this is a sensitive issue, but why would it be assumed that this is "spying on Americans"? Given this kind of access, it's possible that it could occur, but given that the American telecom industry tends to have faster communications lines than those in countries known to harbor these groups, it's just as possible that they're monitoring those calls. It's a matter of call routing and the most efficient way to get from point A to point B. Just my $0.02.
While I love most of the games that have been posted here, what's everyone's favorite game music? I don't know about anyone else but I still get some of the music from old games like Zelda, The Guardian Legend, and Metroid stuck in my head from time to time. Anyone have any particular favorite game music (8 bit or otherwise)?

Chicago does have the Museum of Science and Industry, but also houses the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, and the Shedd Aquarium. While it seems that this would be less interesting, it's worth mentioning the Chicago Art Institute too. All of these museums are fairly close to each other (with the exception of the Museum of Science and Industry).
What's next? Killer robot legs? What happens when they get the whole killer robot put together? I answer: Mecha-Streisand.

While I do love playing all the newer games that are coming out these days, I still love playing the classics:
The Legend of Zelda
Metroid
Phantasy Star series
Final Fantasy (take your pick - yes, even #1)
StarCraft
Tecmo Bowl
Doom
Wolfenstein 3D
Tie Fighter
These classics will always bring me back to the early days of gaming!
