Copy all the photos off the flash drive on to a NAS set up with RAID 5 (or a couple external HDDs) AND a local laptop/PC. Don't delete anything off the flash drive until you are absolutely certain that you have all the images there.
Back up your laptop/PC to the cloud (i.e. Mozzy or SpiderOak) - I prefer spideroak as it is cross platform - Linux, Mac, Windows, but select a service that encrypts the data locally before uploading to the cloud.
If you are truly paranoid, use two cloud services - just in case one of them goes under or is unavailable for some reason.
That should do the trick:)
Use something like TrueCrypt and create a hidden volume within the outer encrypted volume. it's not possible to prove if there is a hidden volume as all free space within the outer volume is always filled with random data, and no part of the hidden volume can be differentiated from the random data.
This is beyond being greedy... my guess is this attitude will do them more harm than anything else... tempting ppl to download music without paying for it just to stick it to them

carma b damed
in that case a "feature enhancement" request is in order
All the more reason to switch to linux!! Change or upgrade a component on the PC or laptop and it will revert back to a non-genuine status ....
