And your point is what? That it's OK to have an unconstitutional law because it was upheld by a judge? That's like saying it's OK to put an innocent man to death because his appeals were turned down by the supreme court. Injustice is injustice, even if the legal system green lights it.

Leo wouldn't even legally have the ability to sell off ANY division of HP without board approval. What the hell makes you think a veteran CEO would make an announcement on plans he couldn't enact without getting approval first?

Do you really think these "rumors" about webos, the pc division, etc. are just rumors? They're being floated by HP marketing to watch the stock market to determine what to do. They literally have NO IDEA what they're doing. At this point they're just praying that they don't get murdered any harder than they have, because they'll ALL be out on their asses. To be quite honest, I can't believe they aren't all already out on their asses. The only reason they aren't is because the board and the executives of companies no longer actually answer to their investors; they answer to the hedge fund managers who control their real investors funds.

There's absolutely no way that ESXi costs you the exact same amount of money as deploying Hyper-V unless you're talking about deploying the free version that includes no features. Hyper-V is included in your Server Datacenter license allowing you to run as many copies of windows as you want on a single physical box. You would also likely want SCVMM for $1300 list (likely far less if you've got volume licensing) to manage it. The "same functionality" from VMware costs you at minimum another $2k per server on top of the windows license.
