    Admiral Hopper was a calculator. She worked on the Harvard Mark 1. She was part of the US Navy's Bureau of Ships ballistic calculation project. I am the proud possessor of one of her nanoseconds.

    It's been done. On August 11, 2003, a model airplane designed by famous aeromodeller Maynard Hill successfully navigated its way from Newfoundland to Ireland. In fact, a group from the university of Washington did it in 1998 with an autonomous aircraft but it weighed more than the allowed weight for a model aircraft.     Absolutly do not forget to install signal conduit. Use Cat6 for your ethernet wiring. Use RG-6 for your cable TV coax (less loss) When you put the pull string in, make it a loop, that way you won't have to pull a new string in as well. Two inch conduit will do fine. Since you have the wall thickness, use two forty-five degree bends a few inches apart rather than one ninety degree bend. Leave some pull boxes in long runs too.
