Admiral Hopper was a calculator. She worked on the Harvard Mark 1. She was part of the US Navy's Bureau of Ships ballistic calculation project. I am the proud possessor of one of her nanoseconds.
It's been done. On August 11, 2003, a model airplane designed by famous aeromodeller Maynard Hill successfully navigated its way from Newfoundland to Ireland. In fact, a group from the university of Washington did it in 1998 with an autonomous aircraft but it weighed more than the allowed weight for a model aircraft. The Rutgers group is doing it underwater, but they are not nearly the first.

Because once the state grabs power and deprives the citizenry (subjects, in this case)of some right it will never let go. Like another failed theory, gun control, "it doesn't work, we need more".

Ah, yes. The same people who strip-searched a Marine Corps honor guard and attempeted to confiscate Joe Foss' Medal of Honor. I am so glad not to be business travelling anymore.

Absolutly do not forget to install signal conduit. Use Cat6 for your ethernet wiring. Use RG-6 for your cable TV coax (less loss) When you put the pull string in, make it a loop, that way you won't have to pull a new string in as well. Two inch conduit will do fine. Since you have the wall thickness, use two forty-five degree bends a few inches apart rather than one ninety degree bend. Leave some pull boxes in long runs too.

Whew! That means that the machines cost over $5000 each! That's a lot of money for a PC with no printer.
