Government should not recognize ANY marriage. If you get married that should be entirely between you, your God(s), who ever else attends where you warship, and that's it.
Hmm, a warship marriage. Sounds exciting. Well, gov does have to recognize marriage because there are tax, employment and death benefits among others.
My God(s), on the other hand, well, they don't exist, so they don't recognize shit.
I've known plenty of people who I wouldn't trust to fly me around who got their pilot's license. I would say it's pretty easy from what I've seen. Isn't expensive either. Maybe $10-15K?
actually this market makes perfect sense to me. a $100 device that does everything i need on my tv that i can replace every few yrs is appealing. what doesn't makes sense to me is the smart tv market. the tv will last a decade. the smart part is outdated at purchase time.
old pcs and consoles are not replacements for various reasons relating to cost, noise, size, power use, and maintenance.
there is the argument, of course, that these people want to be part of russia as they historically had been until the 50's when russia gave the territory away to ukraine.
yeah, i have a manual, and i do this and downshift at the same time to slow down. so ass behind me always has to swerve around me and hit the gas to accelerate past me for 50 feet, then brake hard to stop for the light. always amazed.
I think the idea with the metamaterials is that it would cancel out the waves passively. I think we're ok with triggering a worse situation somewhere else. That's what we do best.
And 15 deaths is so trivial as to be ridiculous. Hell, we even have more measles deaths than that (60 on average, in years we don't have a massive outbreak like this year)....
Yes, it's all well and good, but I don't see how you're going to help those with measles by installing backup cameras.:P
Anyways, probably won't cost more than $20 to implement by 2018.
An estimated 13 to 15 deaths and 1,125 injuries may be prevented with the implementation of this new requirement."
This read like sarcasm to me. Then I realized they were serious. I'm all for backup cameras. I've had my share of fender benders, but it seems like there are far better ways to spend money to improve car safety than this.
funny how they talk about this as if it's something special and luxurious. seems like your average student or blue collar worker has something like this in their driveway.
didn't know there were so many muslims on slashdot...maybe it's read in London or Sweden more than I realized? in any case, everyone knows this is the truth, it's not racist or bigoted to speak the truth.

Current cars can 80% charge in 30 minutes. So I think the question is do we need 5 minute charging instead of 30 minute charging?
If my range was 300 miles, I'd be cool with 30 minute charging. I'd almost never use it.
or store it in capacitors for super fast discharge

I allow Delta to vouch for their pilots, based on their domain expertise and interest in preserving their billions in capital.
I wouldn't trust your average yahoo who has a plane and license.
but it doesn't have oceans.
AND, there are lots of other interesting moons out that way. good to establish a precedent that this far out exploration can be done.
not to mention virtually every state in the union.
they were inhabited when we showed up, you know.
BOOM.
its just so cheap that it kind of begs the question of why not if u have any unconnected tv in your home.

150 hit points could do a lot of damage to the light

Well, someone would have to just bang them too! Not the worst pattern to create.

A lot of the world's problems could be solved by banning busybodies. ;-)
Read "by banging" busybodies...and though, eh, that could work.

It's never had anything to do with intelligence...autistic people have often been highly intelligent.
And more so, for many, unable to care for themselves, unable to eat, to prepare food, secure food, handle finances, basic communication etc.
The awkward and unsociable ones you mention are just the very high performers.
I would like a switch to kill the person who steals the phone. i support this kill switch idea. explosive charge through the ear?
