    Pretty is just as cheap to mass produce as ugly. GM should take a lesson. I disagree. Designers that do pretty and functional can get more for their product and therefore charge more for their services. Cheap designers (or really-engineers calling themselves designers) do functional well...sometimes and ugly tends to be the product.

    As a Rhode Islander, I'd be happy if Canada annexed New England. We'd have socialized medicine, a (relatively) intelligent government, the ability to say "Eh," Kids in the Hall would be hometown heros instead of "Those Funny Gay Men" and we'd not have to deal with how frigging cold it is there.

    I'm fond of Veritas/Symantec for windows based backups. A pain to initially configure, but the support has gotten MUCH better and it's pretty flexible about what media you can backup to and from. It's been pretty good to me for disaster recovery and it's easy to set up media rotation (which is a very important thing to a small business owner that doesn't want to go crazy creating and maintaining media libraries.

    Just a little off topic, but IE is down to 90%? when did that happen? My question is, programs (like realplayer) that dial home to artificially inflate web stats do they use the default browser or do they use IE? that could have a huge impact on percentages, since it's the site with the largest number of hits.

    Libertarian is Conservative Anarchy. It's basically hipster anarchists who got some money. By anarchy, of course I mean french democratic style, not the "Anarchy in the UK" style that people think is what Anarchy is about. Either way, it's a short sighted ethos. Anarchy!!!     Hey mods, this is not trolling. This is the opinion of an experience user who has noticed that it doesn't matter whether a thing is done for the right reasons in Linux, it's still done because at the end Linux is directed by Linus. Which is NOT freedom, but close.
