    This is a lie. The republicans held 51 seats of the senate from 2002-2004 and gained even more in 2004-2006.

    I can somewhat understand the screenshot-in-word-document phenomena. Word allows you to paste images, including screen captures. Most office workers use Word daily and never touch mspaint. They dont know how to save image files but they do know how to paste things into a Word document.

    How is automount a bad thing? Autorun yes, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say when someone attaches media to a computer they are going to access the data on it 100% of the time.

    Root access is completely unnecessay for development and the installation of software. Any user application can be compiled and run from a user's home directory. With root they have way too many ways to screw the system up.

    The problem is that it wont beat Linux or WinXP at any reasonable benchmark.

    Cinebench r10 looks like it was hardcoded to give a better result on a specific version of windows vista. Somehow performed worse on vista SP1 and XP when everything else performs better... hmmmmm...

    The problem with this is that their 64bit OS still runs 32 bit applications by including system dlls for both. This is the biggest failure of 64-bit vista and XP.

    Not to mention that the mime type is set by the sender and/or server. The email could very well say that this .doc file is something like text/x-wordpad and then it gets opened with wordpad.
