there are scripts that can scan for the vulnerability. I'm amused that many major banks, credit card companies and a certain well known pay-your-friend site (at least a couple of their URL, not all their services) have neither acknowledged the bug, nor patched it.
Maveriks has openssl version 0.9.8y, which is too old to be vulnerable. Macports will give you a vulnerable 1.0.1 version that last I checked earlier today had no patch.
trying to fix things? no, we destroyed a country so well-connected contractors could make a pile of money to rebuild it. some of the contractors were playing whack-a-mole shooting iraqi civilians in the head, also for bucks. we did nothing good there
there is not sufficient natural gas (itself a fossil fuel) to replace all of coal or oil though I agree would be wonderful idea to replace as much as possible while cleaner energy sources worked out.
so big pharmy profit margins and their giving gifts to your doctor have nothing to do with it, it's all just superior tech documented by unbiased researchers and studies not done under any infuence?
Wrong, we the USA caused far more deaths of innocents than Saddam plus Iraqi infighting ever will. Besides which we gave Saddam the money and dual use technology to make chemical weapons that killed 100,000 people. Blood is on our hands
nonsense, we got Iraq's oil back into OPEC, same as stealing territory. Iraq wasn't stable then and is not stable now, factions killing each other in bloodbaths while we left and which continues until now. we caused far more Iraqi civilian deaths than Saddam with our pointless war. A total failure except for defense contractor opportunity and oil cartel market manipulation
yes sarcasm. restart (not reload).
I'm running Petra (16) and patch was out yesterday morning. sucks to be you.

nope.
you have to reboot after update for this one. but thanks for playing
you are silly, it's already been patched and moreover the gnu crap isn't widely used on web connected servers.
it's a non-issue
and the blue screening of classic windows provides a hard shield against any rogue processes owning the machine for too long
plenty of hard clinical studies showing no link whatsoever between free radicals and cancer (or other claimed bad effects like aging).
the 1970s called, they want their junk science back.
then the summary should have said 54M AUD (50M USD)
way to fail, jackaroo
also common with ms-dos, not just in printing world but cnc
newflash for you, 486 machines and motherboards still made
nonsense, why would a cnc machine, for example, need a new driver after running fine for 10+ years? nothing changes!
a manufacturing plant that cuts metal has no interest in developing drivers, probably wouldn't even know what the phrase meant
yes, and the symbol for proof is sometimes the degree sign
you are trying to educate the morons who made the "No Fly" list using only *names* ??
proof, my man. parts per 200
Spirytus (192 proof) diluted with authentic Absythe (137 proof) should get one in the neighborhood of 155 proof with a minty taste

science fiction is a form of fantasy.
that has never happened

causing 300,000 innocents to die so our bankers can get petrodollar profit isn't the same.....okay......
no, some of use might be descended from deported africans: our ancestors might have been asked to leave
so what? Russia's major export customers aren't going anywhere.
