    talk to an excellent martial artist or boxer, you're wrong. they have to force the bone and joints to adapt into weapons, with pain, fractures and breaks along the way. My father was a karate instructor as young man, when my brother started using a punching bag as part of his weights workout, my dad looked at his sore hands the first day and said "Don't be stupid, you're supposed to use mitts"

    that's a clear argument for serial port use. since almost all motherboards have that, that is what should be used for machine control. just as serious department stores and restaurant POS systems use the serial and not USB, that "spazzing" behavior you mention is a problem

    hahahaha, do you realize how paltry the power generated would be compared to the output of the jet engines? The cabin electrical nees are essentially zero in a jumbo jet, compared to the tens of megawatts output of the engines. there is no point, no meaningful percentage of fuel saved

    how is it good for solar energy? four ten horsepower motors pushing a sustainable 23 MPH doesn't awe me, it's like the 1,000 MPG go-carts that putt-putt around a circule track with the engine turning off and on. proves nothing and serves no purpose, and doesn't push any frontiers whatsoever.

    I've learned to asemble and repair things watching youtube videos. My children's schools use the Khan website for homework and practice tests. I run my domain servers on BSD that is created and distributed via the web; and my desktops and laptops run Linux Mint. The web is enabling great things even with all the nonsense and drivel out there.

    why not, you can go on to a specialized Bachelors degrees. Even with a bachelors in the liberal arts or humanities there are many specialized graduate programs one can enter, including some major med schools

    purists can also get Linux into the door at the clients with windows desktops, the basics of authentication, file and print sharing are enough for most small/medium business. I've done that a few times over the last five years, clients are still happy as the server just works,and are adopting more Linux boxes including some desktops.

    how do you know his grandmother wasn't a school teacher or a charity worker, etc.? my grandmother was an emergency room nurse for most of her life, maybe 25 people at her funeral but their are hundreds who had their lives saved by her in the off hours when a doctor not readily available (county hospital in rural area)
